How to convert Ethereum to ConsumerFi Protocol

Converting ETH to CFI on NEAR Mobile Swap is done in three simple steps through the NEAR Intents protocol: Deposit, Swap, and Withdraw.

Step 1 — Deposit ETH from Ethereum
Go to the Deposit tab and select Ethereum (ETH) on Ethereum. The widget will generate a deposit address (or QR code) — send your ETH there from any wallet. Once the deposit is confirmed on Ethereum, your ETH balance appears inside NEAR Intents.

Step 2 — Swap ETH to CFI on NEAR Intents
Switch to the Swap tab, pick ETH as the source and CFI as the target. Enter the amount and confirm — solvers compete to fill your order and the swap settles in seconds.

Step 3 — Withdraw CFI to Base
Finally, go to the Withdraw tab. Select ConsumerFi Protocol (CFI) from your NEAR Intents balance and choose Base as the destination. Enter an address from any EVM wallet such as MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet and confirm.

⚠ Important: When entering a withdrawal address, make sure it is a personal wallet you control. Some centralized exchanges do not support receiving funds from smart-contract-based deposits — sending to an exchange address may result in lost funds.

About the ETHCFI swap

This is a cross-chain swap: your ETH leaves Ethereum and CFI arrives on Base. Normally that takes a bridge plus a DEX, or a centralized exchange account. With NEAR Intents the deposit, swap and withdrawal happen in one flow, and what lands in your wallet is CFI on Base, not a wrapped copy you have to bridge again.

Both ETH and CFI float against the dollar, so the ETH/CFI rate moves with two markets at once. Traders use this pair to rotate between ecosystems in a single step instead of selling to a stablecoin first.

About Ethereum and ConsumerFi Protocol

What is Ethereum (ETH)?

Ether (ETH) powers Ethereum, a programmable blockchain proposed by Vitalik Buterin in 2013 and launched in July 2015 by a group of co-founders. Rather than acting only as money, Ethereum runs smart contracts, which let developers deploy applications that execute exactly as written.

How Ethereum works

Since the Merge in September 2022, Ethereum has been secured by Proof of Stake: validators lock up ETH, propose and attest to blocks, and can lose part of their stake for misbehaviour. Every operation on the network costs gas, which is paid in ETH and compensates validators for processing transactions.

What ETH is used for

ETH pays for transaction fees and is widely used as collateral in decentralized finance, from lending protocols to decentralized exchanges. Holders also stake it to help secure the network and earn protocol rewards.

ETH supply

Ether has no fixed maximum supply. New ETH is issued to validators, while the base fee of every transaction is burned under EIP-1559, so net supply can rise or fall depending on network activity.

Before you swap ETH

Make sure your withdrawal goes to an address on Ethereum mainnet and not to a layer-2 or another EVM network that uses the same address format. Gas prices on Ethereum fluctuate with demand, which can affect the cost of moving ETH in or out.

What is ConsumerFi Protocol (CFI)?

ConsumerFi Protocol connects a group of consumer apps, led by the Kinsu DeFi app and PlayEmber's Bitcoin games, through one token and a shared user-data layer. CFI launched as a Base token in 2025, with a NEAR version following in November 2025 alongside a multichain public sale on Calyx.

How ConsumerFi Protocol works

The protocol builds an encrypted 'ConsumerGraph' of each user's app activity. NEAR AI processes this privately to produce personalized financial insights, and users control whether the data is shared. CFI connects the apps, and staking CFI gives higher rates on USDC deposits in Kinsu.

What CFI is used for

Users stake CFI for boosted Kinsu yields and earn it through activity in the connected apps. It also trades on Base and NEAR.

CFI supply

Total supply is 1 billion CFI, of which 25 million (2.5%) were offered in the 2025 public sale.

Before you swap CFI

Base is the default network here and a NEAR version is also listed. After a Base withdrawal you need a little ETH on Base for gas. Liquidity is modest, so check price impact.

What to know before swapping Ethereum for ConsumerFi Protocol

Deposit ETH from Ethereum into NEAR Intents, swap it for CFI, then withdraw CFI to your wallet on Base. The widget on this page walks you through all three steps and shows the exact amount you will receive before you confirm.
