How to convert NEAR Protocol to Dash

The widget above is already set to NEAR on NEAR → DASH on Dash. The whole swap runs in one flow through NEAR Intents:

Step 1: Choose how to pay
Connect a NEAR wallet such as NEAR Mobile or Meteor that holds your NEAR. Or turn on Swap from external wallet to get a deposit address and QR code you can pay from any wallet or exchange; you then add an address on NEAR for refunds.

Step 2: Enter the amount and where to receive
Type how much NEAR to swap and the Dash address that receives the DASH, from a Dash wallet such as DashPay or Dash Core. The widget shows how much DASH you will receive, fees included, before you confirm.

Step 3: Confirm and send
Approve the transfer in your wallet, or send the amount to the deposit address. Once it confirms on NEAR, solvers fill the swap and the DASH is sent to your address on Dash. If the swap can't be filled, your NEAR is refunded.

Prefer to keep a balance inside NEAR Intents? The Deposit tab adds NEAR to it, Swap trades within it, and Withdraw sends tokens out to their own networks.

⚠ Important: receive on an address you control. If you send the DASH to an exchange instead, check that it accepts DASH on Dash: some exchanges don't credit deposits that come from a smart contract.

About the NEAR → DASH swap

This is a cross-chain swap: your NEAR leaves NEAR and DASH arrives on Dash. Normally that takes a bridge plus a DEX, or a centralized exchange account. With NEAR Intents the deposit, swap and withdrawal happen in one flow, and what lands in your wallet is DASH on Dash, ready to use there with no second bridging step.

Both NEAR and DASH float against the dollar, so the NEAR/DASH rate moves with two markets at once. Traders use this pair to rotate between ecosystems in a single step instead of selling to a stablecoin first.

About NEAR Protocol and Dash

What is NEAR Protocol (NEAR)?

NEAR Protocol is a smart contract platform co-founded by Illia Polosukhin and Alexander Skidanov, with its mainnet going live in 2020. The network focuses on usability, offering human-readable account names such as alice.near instead of long hexadecimal addresses. It is also the chain behind NEAR Intents, the cross-chain swap system that NEAR Mobile Swap uses.

How NEAR Protocol works

Validators stake NEAR in a Proof of Stake system to produce blocks and confirm transactions. Nightshade sharding splits the network into parallel shards that process transactions side by side, which lets capacity grow as more shards are added.

What NEAR is used for

NEAR is spent on transaction fees and contract storage, and it is delegated to validators by holders who want staking rewards. Developers also use the chain for decentralized apps, AI agents and chain abstraction tools that operate across several blockchains.

NEAR supply

NEAR started with a genesis supply of one billion tokens and has no hard cap. New tokens are minted each epoch to reward validators, with the maximum annual inflation rate halved from 5% to 2.5% in October 2025, while at least 70% of every transaction fee is burned.

Before you swap NEAR

When withdrawing to NEAR, you can send to a named account (like name.near) or to a 64-character implicit account, so check you have the correct one. Keep a little NEAR in your wallet to cover gas and storage for future transactions.

What is Dash (DASH)?

Dash was launched by Evan Duffield on 18 January 2014, first as XCoin and then as Darkcoin, before taking the name Dash, short for digital cash. It aims to be practical money for everyday payments, with features built around speed and optional privacy.

How Dash works

Miners secure Dash with X11 Proof of Work, targeting a block every two and a half minutes. A second tier of masternodes, each backed by 1,000 DASH, signs InstantSend locks that confirm payments within seconds and ChainLocks that protect against chain reorganizations. Evonodes, backed by 4,000 DASH, also run Dash Platform, a separate layer for usernames, data and, since 2025, tokens.

What DASH is used for

DASH is spent at merchants and through gift cards in the DashPay app, and masternode owners vote on which proposals the treasury funds. Optional CoinJoin mixing gives users more financial privacy.

DASH supply

Total supply will end up between 17.74 and 18.92 million DASH, as the block subsidy falls by about 7.14% each year. Twenty percent of every block subsidy goes to the treasury, and the rest is shared between miners and masternodes.

Before you swap DASH

Withdraw to a standard Dash address, which starts with X (or 7 for script addresses), rather than to a DashPay username. Dash blocks target two and a half minutes, so deposits usually confirm faster than on Bitcoin.

What to know before swapping NEAR Protocol for Dash

Use the widget on this page, already set to NEAR on NEAR → DASH on Dash: connect your wallet or pay by QR code, enter the amount and your Dash address, and confirm. NEAR Intents swaps it and sends the DASH to that address in one flow, and the widget shows the exact amount you will receive before you confirm.
