How to convert NEAR Protocol to THORWallet

Converting NEAR to TITN on NEAR Mobile Swap is done in three simple steps through the NEAR Intents protocol: Deposit, Swap, and Withdraw.

Step 1 — Deposit NEAR from NEAR
Go to the Deposit tab and select NEAR Protocol (NEAR) on NEAR. The widget will generate a deposit address (or QR code) — send your NEAR there from any wallet. Once the deposit is confirmed on NEAR, your NEAR balance appears inside NEAR Intents.

Step 2 — Swap NEAR to TITN on NEAR Intents
Switch to the Swap tab, pick NEAR as the source and TITN as the target. Enter the amount and confirm — solvers compete to fill your order and the swap settles in seconds.

Step 3 — Withdraw TITN to Base
Finally, go to the Withdraw tab. Select THORWallet (TITN) from your NEAR Intents balance and choose Base as the destination. Enter an address from any EVM wallet such as MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet and confirm.

⚠ Important: When entering a withdrawal address, make sure it is a personal wallet you control. Some centralized exchanges do not support receiving funds from smart-contract-based deposits — sending to an exchange address may result in lost funds.

About the NEARTITN swap

This is a cross-chain swap: your NEAR leaves NEAR and TITN arrives on Base. Normally that takes a bridge plus a DEX, or a centralized exchange account. With NEAR Intents the deposit, swap and withdrawal happen in one flow, and what lands in your wallet is TITN on Base, not a wrapped copy you have to bridge again.

Both NEAR and TITN float against the dollar, so the NEAR/TITN rate moves with two markets at once. Traders use this pair to rotate between ecosystems in a single step instead of selling to a stablecoin first.

About NEAR Protocol and THORWallet

What is NEAR Protocol (NEAR)?

NEAR Protocol is a smart contract platform co-founded by Illia Polosukhin and Alexander Skidanov, with its mainnet going live in 2020. The network focuses on usability, offering human-readable account names such as alice.near instead of long hexadecimal addresses. It is also the chain behind NEAR Intents, the cross-chain swap system that NEAR Mobile Swap uses.

How NEAR Protocol works

Validators stake NEAR in a Proof of Stake system to produce blocks and confirm transactions. Nightshade sharding splits the network into parallel shards that process transactions side by side, which lets capacity grow as more shards are added.

What NEAR is used for

NEAR is spent on transaction fees and contract storage, and it is delegated to validators by holders who want staking rewards. Developers also use the chain for decentralized apps, AI agents and chain abstraction tools that operate across several blockchains.

NEAR supply

NEAR started with a genesis supply of one billion tokens and has no hard cap. New tokens are minted each epoch to reward validators, with the maximum annual inflation rate halved from 5% to 2.5% in October 2025, while 70% of transaction fees are burned.

Before you swap NEAR

When withdrawing to NEAR, you can send to a named account (like name.near) or to a 64-character implicit account, so check you have the correct one. Keep a little NEAR in your wallet to cover gas and storage for future transactions.

What is THORWallet (TITN)?

TITN belongs to THORWallet, a Swiss-based non-custodial wallet known for cross-chain swaps routed through THORChain and other liquidity sources. It was introduced in July 2025 as the successor to the project's legacy TGT token, and wider exchange listings followed in November 2025.

How THORWallet works

TGT holders convert through a merge contract on Arbitrum at a fixed rate of 2.66 TGT per TITN for the first three months, after which the ratio declines linearly to zero by July 2026. TITN can then be bridged to Base and staked, with stakers receiving a share of THORWallet's swap-fee revenue paid out in USDC.

What TITN is used for

Holders stake TITN to earn part of the wallet's protocol revenue and to unlock lower fees on cross-chain swaps inside the app. It also powers quests, raffles and other in-app reward programs.

TITN supply

The maximum supply is capped at 1 billion TITN. Tokens enter circulation through the TGT merge and scheduled allocations rather than open-ended emissions.

Before you swap TITN

Here TITN is delivered as an ERC-20 on Base, so keep a little ETH on Base for gas if you plan to stake it or move it on. It is a relatively small-cap token, so liquidity can be thinner than for major assets.
