How to convert Wrapped Bitcoin to Zcash

Converting WBTC to ZEC on NEAR Mobile Swap is done in three simple steps through the NEAR Intents protocol: Deposit, Swap, and Withdraw.

Step 1 — Deposit WBTC from Wrapped Bitcoin network
Go to the Deposit tab and select Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) on its native ETH chain. The widget will generate a deposit address (or QR code) — send your WBTC there from any wallet. Once confirmed, your WBTC balance appears inside the NEAR Intents chain.

Step 2 — Swap WBTC to ZEC on NEAR Intents
Switch to the Swap tab. Both tokens are already on the NEAR Intents chain — pick WBTC as the source and ZEC as the target. Enter the amount and confirm — swaps settle in seconds with no bridging required.

Step 3 — Withdraw ZEC to Zcash network
Finally, go to the Withdraw tab. Select Zcash (ZEC) from your NEAR Intents balance and choose the ZEC chain as the destination. Enter your wallet address and confirm — the withdrawal usually completes in under a minute.

⚠ Important: When entering a withdrawal address, make sure it is a personal wallet you control. Some centralized exchanges do not support receiving funds from smart-contract-based deposits — sending to an exchange address may result in lost funds.
