What is Rhea Finance (RHEA)?
Rhea Finance was formed in 2025 when Ref Finance, NEAR's main decentralized exchange, merged with Burrow, its main lending market. RHEA replaced the old REF and BRRR tokens and began trading in July 2025, and it was the first NEAR project listed on Binance Alpha.

How Rhea Finance works
The protocol combines swaps, lending and borrowing, and BTC bridging through the Satoshi Bridge, so users can put Bitcoin and other assets to work from one interface, including from a Bitcoin wallet. Alongside RHEA it uses two helper tokens, xRHEA and oRHEA, for governance and incentives.
What RHEA is used for
Holders use RHEA for governance and to stake into the protocol's reward and boost system. It also trades as a liquid NEAR DeFi asset and is available on BNB Chain.
RHEA supply
Supply is capped at 1 billion RHEA. About 37% went to converting REF and BRRR, 4% went to an airdrop, and other allocations vest over roughly three years.
