How to convert ADI to NEAR Protocol

Converting ADI to NEAR on NEAR Mobile Swap is done in three simple steps through the NEAR Intents protocol: Deposit, Swap, and Withdraw.

Step 1 — Deposit ADI from Ethereum
Go to the Deposit tab and select ADI (ADI) on Ethereum. The widget will generate a deposit address (or QR code) — send your ADI there from any wallet. Once the deposit is confirmed on Ethereum, your ADI balance appears inside NEAR Intents.

Step 2 — Swap ADI to NEAR on NEAR Intents
Switch to the Swap tab, pick ADI as the source and NEAR as the target. Enter the amount and confirm — solvers compete to fill your order and the swap settles in seconds.

Step 3 — Withdraw NEAR to NEAR
Finally, go to the Withdraw tab. Select NEAR Protocol (NEAR) from your NEAR Intents balance and choose NEAR as the destination. Enter an address from a NEAR wallet such as NEAR Mobile or Meteor and confirm.

⚠ Important: When entering a withdrawal address, make sure it is a personal wallet you control. Some centralized exchanges do not support receiving funds from smart-contract-based deposits — sending to an exchange address may result in lost funds.

About the ADINEAR swap

This is a cross-chain swap: your ADI leaves Ethereum and NEAR arrives on NEAR. Normally that takes a bridge plus a DEX, or a centralized exchange account. With NEAR Intents the deposit, swap and withdrawal happen in one flow, and what lands in your wallet is NEAR on NEAR, not a wrapped copy you have to bridge again.

Both ADI and NEAR float against the dollar, so the ADI/NEAR rate moves with two markets at once. Traders use this pair to rotate between ecosystems in a single step instead of selling to a stablecoin first.

About ADI and NEAR Protocol

What is ADI (ADI)?

ADI Chain is an Ethereum Layer 2 created by the ADI Foundation in Abu Dhabi to serve governments, enterprises and financial institutions. Its mainnet and the ADI token were announced on 9 December 2025, after a testnet launched in August 2025.

How ADI works

The network is built on zkSync's ZK Stack and uses zero-knowledge proofs to settle to Ethereum, with support for application-specific Layer 3 chains for things like payments, registries and regulated stablecoins. ADI is the gas token for the L2 and its L3 domains and serves as the settlement asset between participants.

What ADI is used for

ADI pays transaction fees on ADI Chain and can be staked in a treasury-backed pool for rewards. It is also traded on exchanges such as Kraken, Crypto.com and KuCoin.

ADI supply

Maximum supply is 1 billion ADI, created at genesis and unlocked under a vesting schedule that runs until 2034; staking rewards do not come from new minting.

Before you swap ADI

The version listed here is the ERC-20 on Ethereum mainnet, so you need ETH for gas; using it on ADI Chain requires bridging. Do not confuse it with unrelated tokens using the ADI ticker.

What is NEAR Protocol (NEAR)?

NEAR Protocol is a smart contract platform co-founded by Illia Polosukhin and Alexander Skidanov, with its mainnet going live in 2020. The network focuses on usability, offering human-readable account names such as alice.near instead of long hexadecimal addresses. It is also the chain behind NEAR Intents, the cross-chain swap system that NEAR Mobile Swap uses.

How NEAR Protocol works

Validators stake NEAR in a Proof of Stake system to produce blocks and confirm transactions. Nightshade sharding splits the network into parallel shards that process transactions side by side, which lets capacity grow as more shards are added.

What NEAR is used for

NEAR is spent on transaction fees and contract storage, and it is delegated to validators by holders who want staking rewards. Developers also use the chain for decentralized apps, AI agents and chain abstraction tools that operate across several blockchains.

NEAR supply

NEAR started with a genesis supply of one billion tokens and has no hard cap. New tokens are minted each epoch to reward validators, with the maximum annual inflation rate halved from 5% to 2.5% in October 2025, while 70% of transaction fees are burned.

Before you swap NEAR

When withdrawing to NEAR, you can send to a named account (like name.near) or to a 64-character implicit account, so check you have the correct one. Keep a little NEAR in your wallet to cover gas and storage for future transactions.

What to know before swapping ADI for NEAR Protocol

Deposit ADI from Ethereum into NEAR Intents, swap it for NEAR, then withdraw NEAR to your wallet on NEAR. The widget on this page walks you through all three steps and shows the exact amount you will receive before you confirm.
