How to convert ConsumerFi Protocol to Bitcoin

Converting CFI to BTC on NEAR Mobile Swap is done in three simple steps through the NEAR Intents protocol: Deposit, Swap, and Withdraw.

Step 1 — Deposit CFI from Base
Go to the Deposit tab and select ConsumerFi Protocol (CFI) on Base. The widget will generate a deposit address (or QR code) — send your CFI there from any wallet. Once the deposit is confirmed on Base, your CFI balance appears inside NEAR Intents.

Step 2 — Swap CFI to BTC on NEAR Intents
Switch to the Swap tab, pick CFI as the source and BTC as the target. Enter the amount and confirm — solvers compete to fill your order and the swap settles in seconds.

Step 3 — Withdraw BTC to Bitcoin
Finally, go to the Withdraw tab. Select Bitcoin (BTC) from your NEAR Intents balance and choose Bitcoin as the destination. Enter an address from any Bitcoin wallet and confirm.

⚠ Important: When entering a withdrawal address, make sure it is a personal wallet you control. Some centralized exchanges do not support receiving funds from smart-contract-based deposits — sending to an exchange address may result in lost funds.

About the CFIBTC swap

This is a cross-chain swap: your CFI leaves Base and BTC arrives on Bitcoin. Normally that takes a bridge plus a DEX, or a centralized exchange account. With NEAR Intents the deposit, swap and withdrawal happen in one flow, and what lands in your wallet is BTC on Bitcoin, not a wrapped copy you have to bridge again.

Both CFI and BTC float against the dollar, so the CFI/BTC rate moves with two markets at once. Traders use this pair to rotate between ecosystems in a single step instead of selling to a stablecoin first.

About ConsumerFi Protocol and Bitcoin

What is ConsumerFi Protocol (CFI)?

ConsumerFi Protocol connects a group of consumer apps, led by the Kinsu DeFi app and PlayEmber's Bitcoin games, through one token and a shared user-data layer. CFI launched as a Base token in 2025, with a NEAR version following in November 2025 alongside a multichain public sale on Calyx.

How ConsumerFi Protocol works

The protocol builds an encrypted 'ConsumerGraph' of each user's app activity. NEAR AI processes this privately to produce personalized financial insights, and users control whether the data is shared. CFI connects the apps, and staking CFI gives higher rates on USDC deposits in Kinsu.

What CFI is used for

Users stake CFI for boosted Kinsu yields and earn it through activity in the connected apps. It also trades on Base and NEAR.

CFI supply

Total supply is 1 billion CFI, of which 25 million (2.5%) were offered in the 2025 public sale.

Before you swap CFI

Base is the default network here and a NEAR version is also listed. After a Base withdrawal you need a little ETH on Base for gas. Liquidity is modest, so check price impact.

What is Bitcoin (BTC)?

Bitcoin is the first decentralized cryptocurrency, described in a 2008 white paper by the pseudonymous Satoshi Nakamoto and brought to life when its network went live in January 2009. BTC is the native unit of that network and moves directly between users without a bank or payment processor in the middle.

How Bitcoin works

Miners compete to add blocks by running SHA-256 hashing hardware in a Proof of Work process, and the chain with the most accumulated work is treated as valid. Every full node independently checks each transaction against the rules, so the ledger's history becomes harder to alter with every block stacked on top.

What BTC is used for

Most holders treat BTC as a long-term store of value and a hedge outside the traditional financial system. It is also used for cross-border transfers, as collateral in lending markets, and as a base trading pair across the crypto industry.

BTC supply

The protocol limits total issuance to 21 million BTC. New coins enter circulation only as block rewards, and that reward is cut in half roughly every four years in an event known as the halving.

Before you swap BTC

Bitcoin blocks arrive about every ten minutes on average, so a BTC deposit can take noticeably longer to confirm than deposits on faster chains. Double-check the receiving address format before withdrawing, since Bitcoin transactions cannot be reversed.
