How to convert Ethereum to ADI

Converting ETH to ADI on NEAR Mobile Swap is done in three simple steps through the NEAR Intents protocol: Deposit, Swap, and Withdraw.

Step 1 — Deposit ETH from Ethereum
Go to the Deposit tab and select Ethereum (ETH) on Ethereum. The widget will generate a deposit address (or QR code) — send your ETH there from any wallet. Once the deposit is confirmed on Ethereum, your ETH balance appears inside NEAR Intents.

Step 2 — Swap ETH to ADI on NEAR Intents
Switch to the Swap tab, pick ETH as the source and ADI as the target. Enter the amount and confirm — solvers compete to fill your order and the swap settles in seconds.

Step 3 — Withdraw ADI to Ethereum
Finally, go to the Withdraw tab. Select ADI (ADI) from your NEAR Intents balance and choose Ethereum as the destination. Enter an address from any EVM wallet such as MetaMask or Rabby and confirm.

⚠ Important: When entering a withdrawal address, make sure it is a personal wallet you control. Some centralized exchanges do not support receiving funds from smart-contract-based deposits — sending to an exchange address may result in lost funds.

About the ETHADI swap

ETH and ADI both live on Ethereum, so you deposit and withdraw on the same network. NEAR Intents still routes the trade through its solver network, which means you get a competitive quote without picking a DEX or an aggregator yourself.

Both ETH and ADI float against the dollar, so the ETH/ADI rate moves with two markets at once. Traders use this pair to rotate between ecosystems in a single step instead of selling to a stablecoin first.

About Ethereum and ADI

What is Ethereum (ETH)?

Ether (ETH) powers Ethereum, a programmable blockchain proposed by Vitalik Buterin in 2013 and launched in July 2015 by a group of co-founders. Rather than acting only as money, Ethereum runs smart contracts, which let developers deploy applications that execute exactly as written.

How Ethereum works

Since the Merge in September 2022, Ethereum has been secured by Proof of Stake: validators lock up ETH, propose and attest to blocks, and can lose part of their stake for misbehaviour. Every operation on the network costs gas, which is paid in ETH and compensates validators for processing transactions.

What ETH is used for

ETH pays for transaction fees and is widely used as collateral in decentralized finance, from lending protocols to decentralized exchanges. Holders also stake it to help secure the network and earn protocol rewards.

ETH supply

Ether has no fixed maximum supply. New ETH is issued to validators, while the base fee of every transaction is burned under EIP-1559, so net supply can rise or fall depending on network activity.

Before you swap ETH

Make sure your withdrawal goes to an address on Ethereum mainnet and not to a layer-2 or another EVM network that uses the same address format. Gas prices on Ethereum fluctuate with demand, which can affect the cost of moving ETH in or out.

What is ADI (ADI)?

ADI Chain is an Ethereum Layer 2 created by the ADI Foundation in Abu Dhabi to serve governments, enterprises and financial institutions. Its mainnet and the ADI token were announced on 9 December 2025, after a testnet launched in August 2025.

How ADI works

The network is built on zkSync's ZK Stack and uses zero-knowledge proofs to settle to Ethereum, with support for application-specific Layer 3 chains for things like payments, registries and regulated stablecoins. ADI is the gas token for the L2 and its L3 domains and serves as the settlement asset between participants.

What ADI is used for

ADI pays transaction fees on ADI Chain and can be staked in a treasury-backed pool for rewards. It is also traded on exchanges such as Kraken, Crypto.com and KuCoin.

ADI supply

Maximum supply is 1 billion ADI, created at genesis and unlocked under a vesting schedule that runs until 2034; staking rewards do not come from new minting.

Before you swap ADI

The version listed here is the ERC-20 on Ethereum mainnet, so you need ETH for gas; using it on ADI Chain requires bridging. Do not confuse it with unrelated tokens using the ADI ticker.

What to know before swapping Ethereum for ADI

Deposit ETH from Ethereum into NEAR Intents, swap it for ADI, then withdraw ADI to your wallet on Ethereum. The widget on this page walks you through all three steps and shows the exact amount you will receive before you confirm.
