How to convert Ethereum to World Liberty Financial USD

Converting ETH to USD1 on NEAR Mobile Swap is done in three simple steps through the NEAR Intents protocol: Deposit, Swap, and Withdraw.

Step 1 — Deposit ETH from Ethereum
Go to the Deposit tab and select Ethereum (ETH) on Ethereum. The widget will generate a deposit address (or QR code) — send your ETH there from any wallet. Once the deposit is confirmed on Ethereum, your ETH balance appears inside NEAR Intents.

Step 2 — Swap ETH to USD1 on NEAR Intents
Switch to the Swap tab, pick ETH as the source and USD1 as the target. Enter the amount and confirm — solvers compete to fill your order and the swap settles in seconds.

Step 3 — Withdraw USD1 to Ethereum
Finally, go to the Withdraw tab. Select World Liberty Financial USD (USD1) from your NEAR Intents balance and choose Ethereum as the destination. Enter an address from any EVM wallet such as MetaMask or Rabby and confirm.

⚠ Important: When entering a withdrawal address, make sure it is a personal wallet you control. Some centralized exchanges do not support receiving funds from smart-contract-based deposits — sending to an exchange address may result in lost funds.

About the ETHUSD1 swap

ETH and USD1 both live on Ethereum, so you deposit and withdraw on the same network. NEAR Intents still routes the trade through its solver network, which means you get a competitive quote without picking a DEX or an aggregator yourself.

Swapping ETH to USD1 converts a volatile asset into a dollar-pegged stablecoin — a common way to lock in a price or step out of market swings without off-ramping to a bank account.

About Ethereum and World Liberty Financial USD

What is Ethereum (ETH)?

Ether (ETH) powers Ethereum, a programmable blockchain proposed by Vitalik Buterin in 2013 and launched in July 2015 by a group of co-founders. Rather than acting only as money, Ethereum runs smart contracts, which let developers deploy applications that execute exactly as written.

How Ethereum works

Since the Merge in September 2022, Ethereum has been secured by Proof of Stake: validators lock up ETH, propose and attest to blocks, and can lose part of their stake for misbehaviour. Every operation on the network costs gas, which is paid in ETH and compensates validators for processing transactions.

What ETH is used for

ETH pays for transaction fees and is widely used as collateral in decentralized finance, from lending protocols to decentralized exchanges. Holders also stake it to help secure the network and earn protocol rewards.

ETH supply

Ether has no fixed maximum supply. New ETH is issued to validators, while the base fee of every transaction is burned under EIP-1559, so net supply can rise or fall depending on network activity.

Before you swap ETH

Make sure your withdrawal goes to an address on Ethereum mainnet and not to a layer-2 or another EVM network that uses the same address format. Gas prices on Ethereum fluctuate with demand, which can affect the cost of moving ETH in or out.

How World Liberty Financial USD works

Each USD1 is backed by reserves of US dollars, short-dated US Treasury bills and government money market fund holdings, custodied by BitGo Trust Company. Eligible institutions mint and redeem at one dollar per token, and the issuer publishes monthly third-party attestations of the reserves.

What USD1 is used for

Traders use USD1 as a dollar base pair on exchanges and DEXs, and institutions have used it to settle large transactions. It is also integrated into DeFi lending and liquidity pools on several chains.

USD1 supply

Supply has no fixed ceiling and expands or contracts as tokens are minted and redeemed against reserves on a 1:1 basis.

Before you swap USD1

USD1 is available here on both Ethereum and Solana; pick the network you will use afterwards and keep ETH or SOL for gas. It targets the US dollar, so swaps from other dollar stablecoins should price close to parity.
