How to convert HAPI Protocol to Ethereum

Converting HAPI to ETH on NEAR Mobile Swap is done in three simple steps through the NEAR Intents protocol: Deposit, Swap, and Withdraw.

Step 1 — Deposit HAPI from Ethereum
Go to the Deposit tab and select HAPI Protocol (HAPI) on Ethereum. The widget will generate a deposit address (or QR code) — send your HAPI there from any wallet. Once the deposit is confirmed on Ethereum, your HAPI balance appears inside NEAR Intents.

Step 2 — Swap HAPI to ETH on NEAR Intents
Switch to the Swap tab, pick HAPI as the source and ETH as the target. Enter the amount and confirm — solvers compete to fill your order and the swap settles in seconds.

Step 3 — Withdraw ETH to Ethereum
Finally, go to the Withdraw tab. Select Ethereum (ETH) from your NEAR Intents balance and choose Ethereum as the destination. Enter an address from any EVM wallet such as MetaMask or Rabby and confirm.

⚠ Important: When entering a withdrawal address, make sure it is a personal wallet you control. Some centralized exchanges do not support receiving funds from smart-contract-based deposits — sending to an exchange address may result in lost funds.

About the HAPIETH swap

HAPI and ETH both live on Ethereum, so you deposit and withdraw on the same network. NEAR Intents still routes the trade through its solver network, which means you get a competitive quote without picking a DEX or an aggregator yourself.

Both HAPI and ETH float against the dollar, so the HAPI/ETH rate moves with two markets at once. Traders use this pair to rotate between ecosystems in a single step instead of selling to a stablecoin first.

About HAPI Protocol and Ethereum

What is HAPI Protocol (HAPI)?

HAPI Protocol is an on-chain cybersecurity project that emerged from the Hacken ecosystem and went public through an initial DEX offering in March 2021. It gives smart contracts, exchanges and wallets risk data on compromised addresses and stolen funds, with deployments on Ethereum, NEAR, Solana and BNB Chain.

How HAPI Protocol works

HAPI runs oracles and a set of cross-chain smart contracts that record addresses tied to hacks, scams and other illicit activity, together with risk scores. Integrators query this data to screen transfers in real time, and reporters are rewarded for submitting information that is confirmed as valid.

What HAPI is used for

Projects use HAPI to access its AML and threat data and to take part in the protocol's reporting and validation. Holders also trade and stake HAPI across the networks where it is deployed.

HAPI supply

The cap is 1 million HAPI, which is small compared with most tokens. About 460,000 of these were offered across the 2021 sale rounds.

Before you swap HAPI

HAPI is native to Ethereum, and the NEAR version is a Rainbow Bridge copy. Both are listed here, so choose the network carefully and keep ETH for gas on Ethereum. Because the supply is small, each token has a relatively high unit price.

What is Ethereum (ETH)?

Ether (ETH) powers Ethereum, a programmable blockchain proposed by Vitalik Buterin in 2013 and launched in July 2015 by a group of co-founders. Rather than acting only as money, Ethereum runs smart contracts, which let developers deploy applications that execute exactly as written.

How Ethereum works

Since the Merge in September 2022, Ethereum has been secured by Proof of Stake: validators lock up ETH, propose and attest to blocks, and can lose part of their stake for misbehaviour. Every operation on the network costs gas, which is paid in ETH and compensates validators for processing transactions.

What ETH is used for

ETH pays for transaction fees and is widely used as collateral in decentralized finance, from lending protocols to decentralized exchanges. Holders also stake it to help secure the network and earn protocol rewards.

ETH supply

Ether has no fixed maximum supply. New ETH is issued to validators, while the base fee of every transaction is burned under EIP-1559, so net supply can rise or fall depending on network activity.

Before you swap ETH

Make sure your withdrawal goes to an address on Ethereum mainnet and not to a layer-2 or another EVM network that uses the same address format. Gas prices on Ethereum fluctuate with demand, which can affect the cost of moving ETH in or out.

What to know before swapping HAPI Protocol for Ethereum

Deposit HAPI from Ethereum into NEAR Intents, swap it for ETH, then withdraw ETH to your wallet on Ethereum. The widget on this page walks you through all three steps and shows the exact amount you will receive before you confirm.
