How to convert Infinex to NEAR Protocol

Converting INX to NEAR on NEAR Mobile Swap is done in three simple steps through the NEAR Intents protocol: Deposit, Swap, and Withdraw.

Step 1 — Deposit INX from Ethereum
Go to the Deposit tab and select Infinex (INX) on Ethereum. The widget will generate a deposit address (or QR code) — send your INX there from any wallet. Once the deposit is confirmed on Ethereum, your INX balance appears inside NEAR Intents.

Step 2 — Swap INX to NEAR on NEAR Intents
Switch to the Swap tab, pick INX as the source and NEAR as the target. Enter the amount and confirm — solvers compete to fill your order and the swap settles in seconds.

Step 3 — Withdraw NEAR to NEAR
Finally, go to the Withdraw tab. Select NEAR Protocol (NEAR) from your NEAR Intents balance and choose NEAR as the destination. Enter an address from a NEAR wallet such as NEAR Mobile or Meteor and confirm.

⚠ Important: When entering a withdrawal address, make sure it is a personal wallet you control. Some centralized exchanges do not support receiving funds from smart-contract-based deposits — sending to an exchange address may result in lost funds.

About the INXNEAR swap

This is a cross-chain swap: your INX leaves Ethereum and NEAR arrives on NEAR. Normally that takes a bridge plus a DEX, or a centralized exchange account. With NEAR Intents the deposit, swap and withdrawal happen in one flow, and what lands in your wallet is NEAR on NEAR, not a wrapped copy you have to bridge again.

Both INX and NEAR float against the dollar, so the INX/NEAR rate moves with two markets at once. Traders use this pair to rotate between ecosystems in a single step instead of selling to a stablecoin first.

About Infinex and NEAR Protocol

What is Infinex (INX)?

Infinex is a crypto trading platform that aims to feel like a centralized exchange while leaving users in control of their funds. It was founded by Kain Warwick, who also started Synthetix, and its INX token was generated on 30 January 2026 after a Patron NFT round and a public sale via Sonar.

How Infinex works

Accounts are secured with passkeys instead of seed phrases, and a single interface spans Ethereum, Solana, several Layer 2s and other networks. The app aggregates spot DEXs and perpetuals venues, handling routing and gas abstraction behind the scenes.

What INX is used for

INX is used for governance and user incentives on the platform, and Infinex has said it intends to use revenue for buybacks. Patron NFT holders received a large share of the initial distribution.

INX supply

A fixed supply of 10 billion INX was minted at the token generation event; sale allocations carried lockups.

The listing here is the ERC-20 on Ethereum, so plan on ETH for gas. It is Infinex (infinex-2 on CoinGecko), not the older INX token of the INX securities platform.

What is NEAR Protocol (NEAR)?

NEAR Protocol is a smart contract platform co-founded by Illia Polosukhin and Alexander Skidanov, with its mainnet going live in 2020. The network focuses on usability, offering human-readable account names such as alice.near instead of long hexadecimal addresses. It is also the chain behind NEAR Intents, the cross-chain swap system that NEAR Mobile Swap uses.

How NEAR Protocol works

Validators stake NEAR in a Proof of Stake system to produce blocks and confirm transactions. Nightshade sharding splits the network into parallel shards that process transactions side by side, which lets capacity grow as more shards are added.

What NEAR is used for

NEAR is spent on transaction fees and contract storage, and it is delegated to validators by holders who want staking rewards. Developers also use the chain for decentralized apps, AI agents and chain abstraction tools that operate across several blockchains.

NEAR supply

NEAR started with a genesis supply of one billion tokens and has no hard cap. New tokens are minted each epoch to reward validators, with the maximum annual inflation rate halved from 5% to 2.5% in October 2025, while 70% of transaction fees are burned.

Before you swap NEAR

When withdrawing to NEAR, you can send to a named account (like name.near) or to a 64-character implicit account, so check you have the correct one. Keep a little NEAR in your wallet to cover gas and storage for future transactions.
