How to convert NEAR Protocol to HAPI Protocol

Converting NEAR to HAPI on NEAR Mobile Swap is done in three simple steps through the NEAR Intents protocol: Deposit, Swap, and Withdraw.

Step 1 — Deposit NEAR from NEAR
Go to the Deposit tab and select NEAR Protocol (NEAR) on NEAR. The widget will generate a deposit address (or QR code) — send your NEAR there from any wallet. Once the deposit is confirmed on NEAR, your NEAR balance appears inside NEAR Intents.

Step 2 — Swap NEAR to HAPI on NEAR Intents
Switch to the Swap tab, pick NEAR as the source and HAPI as the target. Enter the amount and confirm — solvers compete to fill your order and the swap settles in seconds.

Step 3 — Withdraw HAPI to Ethereum
Finally, go to the Withdraw tab. Select HAPI Protocol (HAPI) from your NEAR Intents balance and choose Ethereum as the destination. Enter an address from any EVM wallet such as MetaMask or Rabby and confirm.

⚠ Important: When entering a withdrawal address, make sure it is a personal wallet you control. Some centralized exchanges do not support receiving funds from smart-contract-based deposits — sending to an exchange address may result in lost funds.

About the NEARHAPI swap

This is a cross-chain swap: your NEAR leaves NEAR and HAPI arrives on Ethereum. Normally that takes a bridge plus a DEX, or a centralized exchange account. With NEAR Intents the deposit, swap and withdrawal happen in one flow, and what lands in your wallet is HAPI on Ethereum, not a wrapped copy you have to bridge again.

Both NEAR and HAPI float against the dollar, so the NEAR/HAPI rate moves with two markets at once. Traders use this pair to rotate between ecosystems in a single step instead of selling to a stablecoin first.

About NEAR Protocol and HAPI Protocol

What is NEAR Protocol (NEAR)?

NEAR Protocol is a smart contract platform co-founded by Illia Polosukhin and Alexander Skidanov, with its mainnet going live in 2020. The network focuses on usability, offering human-readable account names such as alice.near instead of long hexadecimal addresses. It is also the chain behind NEAR Intents, the cross-chain swap system that NEAR Mobile Swap uses.

How NEAR Protocol works

Validators stake NEAR in a Proof of Stake system to produce blocks and confirm transactions. Nightshade sharding splits the network into parallel shards that process transactions side by side, which lets capacity grow as more shards are added.

What NEAR is used for

NEAR is spent on transaction fees and contract storage, and it is delegated to validators by holders who want staking rewards. Developers also use the chain for decentralized apps, AI agents and chain abstraction tools that operate across several blockchains.

NEAR supply

NEAR started with a genesis supply of one billion tokens and has no hard cap. New tokens are minted each epoch to reward validators, with the maximum annual inflation rate halved from 5% to 2.5% in October 2025, while 70% of transaction fees are burned.

Before you swap NEAR

When withdrawing to NEAR, you can send to a named account (like name.near) or to a 64-character implicit account, so check you have the correct one. Keep a little NEAR in your wallet to cover gas and storage for future transactions.

What is HAPI Protocol (HAPI)?

HAPI Protocol is an on-chain cybersecurity project that emerged from the Hacken ecosystem and went public through an initial DEX offering in March 2021. It gives smart contracts, exchanges and wallets risk data on compromised addresses and stolen funds, with deployments on Ethereum, NEAR, Solana and BNB Chain.

How HAPI Protocol works

HAPI runs oracles and a set of cross-chain smart contracts that record addresses tied to hacks, scams and other illicit activity, together with risk scores. Integrators query this data to screen transfers in real time, and reporters are rewarded for submitting information that is confirmed as valid.

What HAPI is used for

Projects use HAPI to access its AML and threat data and to take part in the protocol's reporting and validation. Holders also trade and stake HAPI across the networks where it is deployed.

HAPI supply

The cap is 1 million HAPI, which is small compared with most tokens. About 460,000 of these were offered across the 2021 sale rounds.

Before you swap HAPI

HAPI is native to Ethereum, and the NEAR version is a Rainbow Bridge copy. Both are listed here, so choose the network carefully and keep ETH for gas on Ethereum. Because the supply is small, each token has a relatively high unit price.

What to know before swapping NEAR Protocol for HAPI Protocol

Deposit NEAR from NEAR into NEAR Intents, swap it for HAPI, then withdraw HAPI to your wallet on Ethereum. The widget on this page walks you through all three steps and shows the exact amount you will receive before you confirm.
