How to convert USD Coin to Dash

The widget above is already set to USDC on Ethereum → DASH on Dash. The whole swap runs in one flow through NEAR Intents:

Step 1: Choose how to pay
Connect any EVM wallet such as MetaMask or Rabby that holds your USDC. Or turn on Swap from external wallet to get a deposit address and QR code you can pay from any wallet or exchange; you then add an address on Ethereum for refunds.

Step 2: Enter the amount and where to receive
Type how much USDC to swap and the Dash address that receives the DASH, from a Dash wallet such as DashPay or Dash Core. The widget shows how much DASH you will receive, fees included, before you confirm.

Step 3: Confirm and send
Approve the transfer in your wallet, or send the amount to the deposit address. Once it confirms on Ethereum, solvers fill the swap and the DASH is sent to your address on Dash. If the swap can't be filled, your USDC is refunded.

Prefer to keep a balance inside NEAR Intents? The Deposit tab adds USDC to it, Swap trades within it, and Withdraw sends tokens out to their own networks.

⚠ Important: receive on an address you control. If you send the DASH to an exchange instead, check that it accepts DASH on Dash: some exchanges don't credit deposits that come from a smart contract.

About the USDC → DASH swap

This is a cross-chain swap: your USDC leaves Ethereum and DASH arrives on Dash. Normally that takes a bridge plus a DEX, or a centralized exchange account. With NEAR Intents the deposit, swap and withdrawal happen in one flow, and what lands in your wallet is DASH on Dash, ready to use there with no second bridging step.

Swapping USDC to DASH is how you buy Dash with US dollars you already hold on-chain: you pay in a stablecoin and receive DASH directly on Dash.

About USD Coin and Dash

What is USD Coin (USDC)?

USDC is a US dollar stablecoin issued by Circle, first launched in September 2018 through the Centre consortium that Circle founded with Coinbase. Circle now manages the token directly, and USDC is issued natively on a range of blockchains, with Ethereum among the largest.

How USD Coin works

Each USDC is meant to be redeemable for one dollar, and Circle mints or burns tokens as institutional customers deposit or withdraw funds. Reserves are held in cash and short-dated US government obligations, largely through a dedicated fund, and Circle publishes regular reports on their composition.

What USDC is used for

USDC is widely used for settlement and payments, both in crypto markets and in business transfers that benefit from moving dollars at any hour. In decentralized finance it serves as a common unit for lending, liquidity pools and trading.

USDC supply

Supply is elastic: USDC is created when dollars are deposited and destroyed when it is redeemed. Circle aims to keep reserves equal to or greater than the amount of USDC in circulation.

Before you swap USDC

The widget defaults to USDC on Ethereum, but the same token also lives on Solana, NEAR, Base and other chains, so select the network your wallet actually uses. Beware of bridged versions with similar names, which are not the same as natively issued USDC.

What is Dash (DASH)?

Dash was launched by Evan Duffield on 18 January 2014, first as XCoin and then as Darkcoin, before taking the name Dash, short for digital cash. It aims to be practical money for everyday payments, with features built around speed and optional privacy.

How Dash works

Miners secure Dash with X11 Proof of Work, targeting a block every two and a half minutes. A second tier of masternodes, each backed by 1,000 DASH, signs InstantSend locks that confirm payments within seconds and ChainLocks that protect against chain reorganizations. Evonodes, backed by 4,000 DASH, also run Dash Platform, a separate layer for usernames, data and, since 2025, tokens.

What DASH is used for

DASH is spent at merchants and through gift cards in the DashPay app, and masternode owners vote on which proposals the treasury funds. Optional CoinJoin mixing gives users more financial privacy.

DASH supply

Total supply will end up between 17.74 and 18.92 million DASH, as the block subsidy falls by about 7.14% each year. Twenty percent of every block subsidy goes to the treasury, and the rest is shared between miners and masternodes.

Before you swap DASH

Withdraw to a standard Dash address, which starts with X (or 7 for script addresses), rather than to a DashPay username. Dash blocks target two and a half minutes, so deposits usually confirm faster than on Bitcoin.

What to know before swapping USD Coin for Dash

Use the widget on this page, already set to USDC on Ethereum → DASH on Dash: connect your wallet or pay by QR code, enter the amount and your Dash address, and confirm. NEAR Intents swaps it and sends the DASH to that address in one flow, and the widget shows the exact amount you will receive before you confirm.
