How to convert Aster to USD Coin

Converting ASTER to USDC on NEAR Mobile Swap is done in three simple steps through the NEAR Intents protocol: Deposit, Swap, and Withdraw.

Step 1 — Deposit ASTER from BNB Chain
Go to the Deposit tab and select Aster (ASTER) on BNB Chain. The widget will generate a deposit address (or QR code) — send your ASTER there from any wallet. Once the deposit is confirmed on BNB Chain, your ASTER balance appears inside NEAR Intents.

Step 2 — Swap ASTER to USDC on NEAR Intents
Switch to the Swap tab, pick ASTER as the source and USDC as the target. Enter the amount and confirm — solvers compete to fill your order and the swap settles in seconds.

Step 3 — Withdraw USDC to Ethereum
Finally, go to the Withdraw tab. Select USD Coin (USDC) from your NEAR Intents balance and choose Ethereum as the destination. Enter an address from any EVM wallet such as MetaMask or Rabby and confirm.

⚠ Important: When entering a withdrawal address, make sure it is a personal wallet you control. Some centralized exchanges do not support receiving funds from smart-contract-based deposits — sending to an exchange address may result in lost funds.

About the ASTERUSDC swap

This is a cross-chain swap: your ASTER leaves BNB Chain and USDC arrives on Ethereum. Normally that takes a bridge plus a DEX, or a centralized exchange account. With NEAR Intents the deposit, swap and withdrawal happen in one flow, and what lands in your wallet is USDC on Ethereum, not a wrapped copy you have to bridge again.

Swapping ASTER to USDC converts a volatile asset into a dollar-pegged stablecoin — a common way to lock in a price or step out of market swings without off-ramping to a bank account.

About Aster and USD Coin

What is Aster (ASTER)?

Aster formed from the late-2024 merger of Astherus, a yield platform, and APX Finance, a perpetual DEX, with APX holders able to convert into ASTER. The token went live on BNB Chain in September 2025.

How Aster works

Aster lets traders open leveraged perpetual positions from their own wallets across several chains, with a simple one-click mode and a professional order-book mode that includes features such as hidden orders. It also offers yield-bearing collateral products inherited from Astherus.

What ASTER is used for

ASTER is used for governance, trading incentives and fee-related programs on the exchange, and holders can take part in its reward campaigns. It is also widely traded as a speculative DeFi asset.

ASTER supply

Maximum supply is 8 billion ASTER, with a large share reserved for community and ecosystem incentives released over time.

Before you swap ASTER

ASTER arrives as a BEP-20 token on BNB Chain, so keep some BNB for gas. This is Aster (aster-2 on CoinGecko), unrelated to Astar Network's ASTR or other 'Aster' tickers.

What is USD Coin (USDC)?

USDC is a US dollar stablecoin issued by Circle, first launched in September 2018 through the Centre consortium that Circle founded with Coinbase. Circle now manages the token directly, and USDC is issued natively on a range of blockchains, with Ethereum among the largest.

How USD Coin works

Each USDC is meant to be redeemable for one dollar, and Circle mints or burns tokens as institutional customers deposit or withdraw funds. Reserves are held in cash and short-dated US government obligations, largely through a dedicated fund, and Circle publishes regular reports on their composition.

What USDC is used for

USDC is widely used for settlement and payments, both in crypto markets and in business transfers that benefit from moving dollars at any hour. In decentralized finance it serves as a common unit for lending, liquidity pools and trading.

USDC supply

Supply is elastic: USDC is created when dollars are deposited and destroyed when it is redeemed. Circle aims to keep reserves equal to or greater than the amount of USDC in circulation.

Before you swap USDC

The widget defaults to USDC on Ethereum, but the same token also lives on Solana, NEAR, Base and other chains, so select the network your wallet actually uses. Beware of bridged versions with similar names, which are not the same as natively issued USDC.
