How to convert NEAR Protocol to World Liberty Financial USD

Converting NEAR to USD1 on NEAR Mobile Swap is done in three simple steps through the NEAR Intents protocol: Deposit, Swap, and Withdraw.

Step 1 — Deposit NEAR from NEAR
Go to the Deposit tab and select NEAR Protocol (NEAR) on NEAR. The widget will generate a deposit address (or QR code) — send your NEAR there from any wallet. Once the deposit is confirmed on NEAR, your NEAR balance appears inside NEAR Intents.

Step 2 — Swap NEAR to USD1 on NEAR Intents
Switch to the Swap tab, pick NEAR as the source and USD1 as the target. Enter the amount and confirm — solvers compete to fill your order and the swap settles in seconds.

Step 3 — Withdraw USD1 to Ethereum
Finally, go to the Withdraw tab. Select World Liberty Financial USD (USD1) from your NEAR Intents balance and choose Ethereum as the destination. Enter an address from any EVM wallet such as MetaMask or Rabby and confirm.

⚠ Important: When entering a withdrawal address, make sure it is a personal wallet you control. Some centralized exchanges do not support receiving funds from smart-contract-based deposits — sending to an exchange address may result in lost funds.

About the NEARUSD1 swap

This is a cross-chain swap: your NEAR leaves NEAR and USD1 arrives on Ethereum. Normally that takes a bridge plus a DEX, or a centralized exchange account. With NEAR Intents the deposit, swap and withdrawal happen in one flow, and what lands in your wallet is USD1 on Ethereum, not a wrapped copy you have to bridge again.

Swapping NEAR to USD1 converts a volatile asset into a dollar-pegged stablecoin — a common way to lock in a price or step out of market swings without off-ramping to a bank account.

About NEAR Protocol and World Liberty Financial USD

What is NEAR Protocol (NEAR)?

NEAR Protocol is a smart contract platform co-founded by Illia Polosukhin and Alexander Skidanov, with its mainnet going live in 2020. The network focuses on usability, offering human-readable account names such as alice.near instead of long hexadecimal addresses. It is also the chain behind NEAR Intents, the cross-chain swap system that NEAR Mobile Swap uses.

How NEAR Protocol works

Validators stake NEAR in a Proof of Stake system to produce blocks and confirm transactions. Nightshade sharding splits the network into parallel shards that process transactions side by side, which lets capacity grow as more shards are added.

What NEAR is used for

NEAR is spent on transaction fees and contract storage, and it is delegated to validators by holders who want staking rewards. Developers also use the chain for decentralized apps, AI agents and chain abstraction tools that operate across several blockchains.

NEAR supply

NEAR started with a genesis supply of one billion tokens and has no hard cap. New tokens are minted each epoch to reward validators, with the maximum annual inflation rate halved from 5% to 2.5% in October 2025, while 70% of transaction fees are burned.

Before you swap NEAR

When withdrawing to NEAR, you can send to a named account (like name.near) or to a 64-character implicit account, so check you have the correct one. Keep a little NEAR in your wallet to cover gas and storage for future transactions.

What is World Liberty Financial USD (USD1)?

How World Liberty Financial USD works

Each USD1 is backed by reserves of US dollars, short-dated US Treasury bills and government money market fund holdings, custodied by BitGo Trust Company. Eligible institutions mint and redeem at one dollar per token, and the issuer publishes monthly third-party attestations of the reserves.

What USD1 is used for

Traders use USD1 as a dollar base pair on exchanges and DEXs, and institutions have used it to settle large transactions. It is also integrated into DeFi lending and liquidity pools on several chains.

USD1 supply

Supply has no fixed ceiling and expands or contracts as tokens are minted and redeemed against reserves on a 1:1 basis.

Before you swap USD1

USD1 is available here on both Ethereum and Solana; pick the network you will use afterwards and keep ETH or SOL for gas. It targets the US dollar, so swaps from other dollar stablecoins should price close to parity.
